Illustrating the adaptability of the design, Sheds n Homes Geelong transformed the humble ‘Roma’ granny flat into a spacious open-planned studio space for a customer in the Victorian town of Stonehaven.
Using Sheds n Homes’ advanced design and engineering software, the steel building experts at Sheds n Homes Geelong created a custom-designed structure that suited our customer’s demanding work requirements.
The floorplan has been reconfigured to create a large open-plan work space, while the extended roof pitch lends a sense of spaciousness to the interior. Multiple windows look out across a picturesque rural landscape of trees and grassland, with sliding glass doors providing the building’s principle point of entry.
The inclusion of insulation to the roof sheeting serves to moderate temperature levels and ensure comfort is maintained for shed occupants all year round.
